The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lasha Darsalia met with the Deputy Head of EU Monitoring Mission Kate Fearon and the Head of Analytical, reporting and outreach department Helen Krieger. 

Georgia's peacekeeping policy was discussed at the meeting. Lasha Darsalia introduced the guests current events towards reconciliation and civic equality and future steps.

They also discussed the new peace initiative of the Government "A Step for a Better Future" and acquainted with its benefits. They talked about the terms of its enactment and expectations.

EUMM representatives were interested in the Geneva International Discussion and IPRM meetings.

The importance of confidence-building projects and the role of the international community within the framework of the implementation of peacekeeping policies was emphasized. Future cooperation steps were planned.
