Training course "How to Start and Develop Business" for women is opened in Kvemo Kartli

The Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality with the cooperation of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance and the Kvemo Kartli Regional Governor's Office organized a training course "How to Start and Develop Business" for women of Kvemo Kartli.

As a result of the competition, which was announced in May, 16 participants were selected. The goal of the training course is to increase theoretical knowledge on entrepreneurship and strengthen the practical skills of business. Women in Kvemo Kartli, who wish to start their business, could participate in it.

The training course includes interactive lectures, practical tasks, preparation and presentation of various topics. Including: establishing a new business, market analysis and division by areas, planning a Minimal Viable Product, business modeling, developing commercialization strategies, etc.

The First Deputy State Minister Lasha Darsalia and Acting Director of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance Giorgi Razmadze opened the training course and welcomed the participants.

According to the First Deputy State Minister Lasha Darsalia, a special emphasis was made on the involvement of women from ethnic minorities in order to increase their integration into social and economic life of the country.

"More involvement of women in political, economic and social life is one of the priorities of our country. Consequently, great attention is paid to developing new programs and initiatives in terms of economic empowerment of women.

"I would like to inform you that the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality in cooperation with the Academy of the Ministry of Finance has undertaken a commitment within the framework of the Human Rights Government's plan to promote women's economic empowerment by promoting ethnic minorities women's professional training and improving their skills for three years ", - said Lasha Darsalia.

The training course was presented by Nino Gvaramadze, the project manager of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance. After the presentation training was conducted on the topics covered by the first day program.

At the end of the course the participants will receive various categories of certificates. Its type depends on attendance, mid-term evaluation and final presentation.
