Acting State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili in the framework of Batumi international conference "The European Way of Georgia" met with Christian Danielsson, Director-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations and discussed the new peace initiative “A Step for a Better Future”.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili informed Christian Dannielsson about the current events and introduced the procedures planned within this initiative. They also talked about the ways and perspectives of its implementation.

Discussion also focused on the situation in the occupied regions of Georgia, violations of human rights and the main directions of Georgia's peacekeeping and engagement policy. Future steps were also discussed in details.
