KETEVAN TSIKHELASHVILI CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS LIVING IN GEORGIA WITH THE END OF HOLY RAMADAN

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulates Muslims living in Georgia with the most glorious celebration of the Islamic world - Eid al-Fitr - the end of Holy Ramadan.

"Congratulate you with the whole heart to the festive mood that is in the heart of every Muslim. Wish you peace, happiness, prosperity and success. Muslims living in Georgia are an integral part of this country.

"We are the country with historically multicultural traditions, where people respect each other's beliefs and confessions. I am sure that we, the citizens of different faiths, will be together and together we will build a happy future.

The Government of Georgia will do its best in order to develop our common homeland, bring prosperity and more happiness to each family living in our country", - said the acting State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.

According to Islamic belief, Allah inspired Muhammad to assume a mission of mediator in this month. Therefore, the event commemorates the first revelation of the Quran to the world.
