The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the new Head of the delegation of International Committee of the Red Cross Severine Chappaz. During the meeting the State Minister thanked previous Head of the Delegation Biljana Milosevic for fruitful cooperation over the past years.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili introduced the state policy of reconciliation and engagement to Severine Chappaz. She talked about the difficult situation in the occupied territories, the humanitarian problems and the challenges faced by the population, severe human rights violations.

The State Minister also reviewed the possibility of restoration and reconciliation between people on both sides of the dividing lines. Discussions also focused on Russia's destructive policy and its separate manifestations.

At the meeting Ketevan Tsikhelashvili underlined the importance of the International Committee of the Red Cross and thanked for assistance in the transfer of Archil Tatunashvili’s body.
