In accordance with the resolution adopted by the Parliament, the Government of Georgia has prepared a draft decree on approval of "Otkozoria-Tatunashvili list", which was approved today, at the first session of the new government.

This list consists of 33 person. The Government has defined all measures to be taken by international organizations and partner countries in relation to those on the “Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list” in order to enforce all possible restrictions and support the administration of justice.

The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality said that this list is extremely important and all these people accused or convicted for serious offenses.

"These are the people who have committed serious crimes against Georgian citizens in the occupied territories since 1991 and criminal proceedings are being carried out nowadays or in the past. It is obvious that Davit Gurtsiev and Alik Taboev, accused in Tatunashvili's case and Rashid Kandji-Ogli, convicted in Ovoszori's case, are wanted by the Interpol.

"The parliamentary resolution determined the measures to be taken for these persons. This includes all possible restrictions, including property, financial and displacement by the international community. It has also been defined by the agencies responsible for execution, such as the Ministry of Justice, the Interior and the Foreign Ministries. At the same time, they will submit to the parliament and the government a report on enforcement. This list is not finished, as the law enforcement agencies continue to investigate. The list can be extended", - said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

She added that the list will be sent to the parliament and after the approval it will become public.
