The project "How to start and develop a business" for women, living in Kvemo Kartli, which was organized by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality with the cooperation of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance and with the support of the Kvemo Kartli governor's administration, finished.
During the final meeting the first Deputy State Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia and Acting Director of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance Giorgi Razmadze handed over certificates to the participants.
According to the assessment of the First Deputy Minister of State, the course was fruitful as the listeners received information about innovations in different directions. As Darsalia said, the graduates can already use the knowledge in practice.
"These projects are focused on the fact that the population of Kvemo Kartli – right now I mean women from national minorities, receive relevant information in order to become more successful. In general, it is very important for us to improve awareness of the population of the regions about innovations”, - said Lasha Darsalia.
Sixteen students selected through the competition passed training courses, including interactive lectures, practical assignments, preparation and of presentation on various topics - establishing a new business, market analysis and division by areas, planning a Minimal Viable Product, business modeling, developing commercialization strategies, etc.
The purpose of the training course was to increase theoretical knowledge on entrepreneurship and enhance practical skills of business.
