The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA to Georgia Elizabeth Rudd.

The bilateral relations and cooperation between Georgia and the United States were discussed at the meeting. The sides discussed the projects and initiatives that are implemented in the occupied territories with the support of the United States and are aimed at peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Discussions also focused on the Georgian government's peacekeeping policy, the implementation of the new peace initiative "A Step for a Better Future", steps towards reconciliation and engagement, current and future events.

The importance of continuing and enhancing cooperation was emphasized. The prospects for implementing joint initiatives were discussed and the future steps were planned.
