Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and NATO Deputy Secretary General talked about the grave situation in the occupied regions of Georgia and the new peace initiative of the Government of Georgia “A Step to a Better Future” for a half an hour.

The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality provided Rose Gottemoeller with detailed information about the human rights violations on the occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region / South Ossetia and thanked for open support of the peace initiative.

Right now participants of NATO – Georgia commission session are discussing Georgian Governments program "A Step to a Better Future".

The meeting was opened by Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and NATO Secretary General. The session will be dedicated to the situation on the occupied territories and the peace policy of Georgia.
