Meeting on gender equality issues, women and domestic violence, trafficking and victims was held in the village of Kvemo Chala

On the initiative of the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, information meeting was held in the village of Kvemo Chala (Kaspi municipality), in cooperation with the State Fund for Trafficking and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The meeting, which took place within the 16-day campaign against gender violence, was attended by local community representatives. In order to raise awareness, representatives of the State Agency provided the participants with information about women and domestic violence, as well as on the state services for trafficking and victims.

They talked in details about the violence manifestations, response mechanisms on it, public attitudes, challenges, and possibilities offered to the victims of violence.

At the end of the meeting the discussion was held. The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Fund for Trafficking has answered each question exhaustively.
