The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality met with UNICEF representative in Georgia Ghassan Khalil in Georgia and briefed him about the situation in the occupied regions.

Human rights violations were discussed during the meeting. The State Minister underlined the fact that locals do not have the opportunity to receive education on native language and added that it is categorically unacceptable for both Georgia and the civilized world.

During the meeting the sides discussed UNICEF's projects and agreed on deepening future cooperation.
