First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ruslan Abashidze held introductory meetings with Munkhtuya Altangerel, Acting Head of UNDP in Georgia and Johannes van der Klaauw, the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to the South Caucasus.

The meeting was focused on the situation in the occupied territories. The facts of violation of human rights in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions were discussed. The discriminatory environment in which people of Gali and Akhalgori live, was underlined. The problems and challenges of the population living across the dividing lines also were emphasized.

Future cooperation plans were planned. At the end of the meeting, the sides wished each other success in the future activities.
