The State Minister Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the experts of Institute of Georgia’s Policy (GIP) and Norwegian Institute of International Relations (NUPI).

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili introduced to the guests Georgian reconciliation and engagement policy. She reviewed in details the peace initiative "A Step to a Better Future", the implementation of which is already underway. Participants also discussed the ways of its implementation.

One of the topics of the meeting was the situation in the occupied territories. The State Minister spoke about the challenges and difficulties that the population living on the other side of the dividing line face daily. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili noted that the task of the Government of Georgia is to alleviate their existing situation. Peace Initiative “A Step to a Better Future" is aimed at offering new opportunities for them.

The discussion was held at the end of the meeting. The State Minister answered the questions of the guests exhaustively.
