The First Deputy State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ruslan Abashidze visited the village of Khurvaleti, where the new wire fences made several days ago.
He got acquainted with the situation on the spot, met with local population, talked with people in whose yards barbed wire were passed through. The First Deputy State Minister received detailed information about the problems and challenges faced by the population.
Ruslan Abashidze called the situation outrageous and said that this process brings more problems to the population living in difficult conditions.
"We are now in Khurvaleti village, which is divided by the barbed wire fences. We are doing our best in order to help all these families and use all kinds of ways to alleviate the situation. At the same time, we will raise the issue on all platforms available to us, including the Geneva international talks. The process is illegal and we will protest it by all means", - said Ruslan Abashidze.
Konstantine Tavzarashvili, Gori Mayor, also visited Khurvaleti.
