Ruslan Abashidze met with the representatives of the Council of Europe on the 19th consolidated report

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ruslan Abashidze met with Deputy Director of the Political Affairs Department of the Council of Europe, Daniil Khoshabo, Advisor to the Political Affairs Department of the Council of Europe Marsel Capi and Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia, Christian Urse.

The purpose of the meeting was to receive information on the situation in Georgia's occupied territories for the 19th Consolidated Report of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe representatives receives from the First Deputy State Minister detailed information about the situation in Georgia's occupied territories.

Ruslan Abashidze observed the incidents of the last six months. He also spoke about the Georgian peacekeeping policies and the steps taken in this regard, the main directions of engagement policy and future plans.

The First Deputy State Minister thanked the Council of Europe for its efforts and noted that the Consolidated Reports of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe were crucial because they reflects the situation in the occupied territories.
