Within the visit to Washington, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality continues working meetings. On the third day of the visit, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili together with the Ambassador of Georgia to USA David Bakradze with met with the representatives of European and Eurasian Affairs of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Brook Berman and Aleksand Sokolowski.

After receiving the information about the situation in the occupied regions, the main part of the meeting was dedicated to the Government's peace initiative "A Step to a Better Future". USAID representatives received from the State Minister detailed information about the projects planned within the framework of this initiative. They expressed their interest and willingness to contribute.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili emphasized the particular importance of USAID support in the successful implementation of the initiative.
