The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with Chairman of State Committee on Diaspora Issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fuad Muradov.

At the meeting they talked about the state policy in promoting civic integration. Projects aimed at integrating ethnic Azeri citizens. Including the "Educational Program for Training in Georgian Language" and the possibilities for internships in state agencies for persons benefiting from the program.

The guests were interested in the conditions of Azeri community, their current important issues and the state approach to these issues.

The importance of friendship between Georgian and Azeri peoples was emphasized. The sides set out future plans and expressed willingness to strengthen support.
