NGOs and locals of Gori were informed about IPRM meetings

On the initiative of the Office of State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, in cooperation with the State Security Service and with the support of UN Women, the meeting was held with the representatives of Public Defender, NGOs and local communities in Gori. Participants discussed the details of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meetings, which were held in 2019.

At the meeting, the audience was provided with detailed information on the IPRM process, topics discussed at these meetings and emphasized the need for continuously extension.

"These meetings are traditional. It has been held for several years already. Together with NGOs and local authorities, we talked about the issues discussed during the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meetings.

Local organizations demonstrated a great interest during today's meeting. They had really interesting questions and, of course, received the most comprehensive answers. We believe that such meetings are very helpful and they will definitely have to continue, because people should know what is happening on the negotiations that we have in direction of the occupied territories ", - said the Head of Department of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Former Autonomous District of South Ossetia and Civil Integration Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Zviad Zviadadze.
