The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili together with her husband and children visited Shindisi where he paid tribute to 17 heroes who died in Shindisi.
"First of all, I want to congratulate the whole Georgia on Easter holiday. Today we paid tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives to the unity and freedom of our country. Today I came here with my children because I think that every child should know their names. Be aware that our freedom stands on such heroes. They also need to know that we should achieve without sacrificing the aim, for which these young people sacrificed themselves.
"I would like to congratulate those people who live in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region and have no freedom of movement. They do not have a chance to visit family and relatives, but they continue to live in a simple way. I want to promise them and those people who live in villages that are divided by the wire fences that the State will do everything in order to help them and to overcome the ugly barbed wire fences that are the daily challenge for many people", - said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
