The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia Hubert Knirsch.

One of the topics discussed at the meeting was the situation in the occupied territories and the difficulties faced by the population living across the dividing line.

The sides discussed the implementation of the Georgian peace initiative "A Step to a Better Future" and the steps that have already taken place in the implementation process. The benefits that people in the occupied territories and residents living across the dividing line receive also were noted.

At the end of the meeting the importance of the close cooperation was stressed.
