Dirk Wiese, who at the same time is an authorized person of the German government in relations with Russia, detailed information about the prohibition of teaching in native language in both occupied regions and discrimination on ethnic grounds.
During the one-hour meeting, the issues of illegal detention of Georgian citizens and artificial barriers were discussed. A member of the German Bundestag also received detailed information about the peace initiative "A Step to a Better Future" and promised the State Minister the support of Germany in the peacekeeping projects.
