The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality met with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Georgia. At the meeting participants discussed the importance of the development of local capabilities and the main challenges in this direction for improving the process of identification of missing persons.

At the meeting 2017-2021 Strategy of the Red Cross for Georgia was discussed. The discussion touched upon the 2019 excavations and exhumations plan on the occupied and on the controlled by the Government of Georgia territory.

During the meeting the State Minister and the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross paid attention to the issue of the active involvement and exchange of information on the burial process.
