The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with young people from Pankisi Gorge and Kvemo Kartli and discussed with them the State policy and nearest plans for civil integration.
Young people shared their opinions with the State Minister and asked questions about the issues and the challenges they face. The discussion was held.
"I am glad that such active and qualified young people have plans, visions, ideas, questions and recommendations. I am going to continue an active communication in the future. This kind of meeting was held for the first time and I believe that each such activity is directed towards involving young people from ethnic minorities on one hand and encouraging them to make positive changes in specific regions in this way. We hope that such efforts will contribute to the protection of the principle of equality of each citizen and to engage more youth in all spheres", - said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
The meeting was organized by the Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) and was attended by the participants of the critical school, supported by EMC.
