The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality KetevanTsikhelashvili met SabineLeutheusser-Schnarrenberger, Vice President of the Friedrich Naumann Fund Board of Directors.

The main topic of the meeting was the initiative of the Government of Georgia "A Step to a Better Future", which is in the process of active implementation. The State Minister reviewed its implementation and in details spoke about the benefits that the initiative implies. It emphasized the role and importance of supporting partners in this process.

The Vice-President of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation's Board of Directors was also interested in the situation in the occupied territories. KetevanTsikhelashvili informed him about the situation and difficulties of the population living in the Tskhinvali region and Abkhazia. The facts of rough violation of human rights were noted.        

At the end of the meeting, the desire to deepen relations and cooperation was expressed.
