18 July 2019
10 issues were discussed at the 94th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism in Ergneti, which lasted for almost a whole day.

The murder of Archil Tatunashvili and the punishment of those responsible for his death – this topic was once again raised by the Georgian side. Also Davit Basharuli's death in the uncertain situation was discussed. The sides discussed the incidents that happened from the previous meeting.

“The meeting was quite constructive and held in the working environment. First of all, of course, Archil Tatunashvili and Davit Basharuli issues were raised - there is no progress yet. Representatives of the Tskhinvali regime are still refusing to transfer Tatunashvili's internal organs and return his personal things.

We also talked about the illegal bowdlerization process. They talked about the so-called border demarcation. Of course, we will never agree on this issue. We do not even consider this topic, because it goes beyond of this format.

Besides, we talked about the violation of our airspace by the unidentified flying aircraft. We did not receive from them a specific explanation and response, but we hope that we will have information from the representatives of Tskhinvali and Russian occupation forces for future meeting", - said Zviad Zviadadze, the Head of Department of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, former Autonomous district of South Ossetia Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia [Office of the State Minister].

The next meeting is scheduled for 29 August 2019.
