The meeting of the Public Advisory Council under the State Governors administration was held in Rustavi. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the NGOs, community leaders, educational and self-government representatives, members of the Ombudsman's Office. The Deputy State Minister addressed the participants of the meeting. Lia Gigauri talked about the steps taken by the state towards civil integration and introduced participants the plans of the Office of the State Minister.
The meeting was held in the discussion mode. Participants of the Council discussed the challenges of integration of ethnic minorities and the ways of overcoming these challenges.
The Public Advisory Council under the State Governors administration was created in 2016 by the initiative of the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.
