Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lia Gigauri visited the villages of Natakhtati, Misaktsieli and Akhalubani in Mtskheta municipality and met with the local population.
Together with the representatives of the central government, the legislature and local self-government, the Deputy State Minister received comprehensive information about the problems and needs of the population. The locals were informed about the planned projects in their villages and in the region.
"During the meetings with the population in the regions we talk about the priorities and needs that are important for the specific community. It is very important to take in the considerations the needs and interests of the population in the budgeting process.
"We are getting from the population the information about their priority issues, discuss solutions and provide information about the Government's upcoming projects and programs, which will help for the regional development. The most important challenges are connected to the drinking water, the development of the rural roads and employment. It is important that we receive this information without intermediaries, in direct manner", - said Lia Gigiauri.
At the meetings, the locals had an opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers.
