The first meeting of the supervisory board of the „Peace Fund for a Better Future“ was held. The fund is a financial instrument under the peace initiative “A Step to a Better Future”. It will serve the goals of the initiative, building peace, cooperation and improving the situation of the population. In addition, it will facilitate the implementation of individual and partnership business projects along the dividing lines.

The foundation was founded on August 12 and its founders are the Partnership Fund and the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.

At the first meeting of the Supervisory Board, the fundamentals of the fund's activities and steps to be taken in order to launch the fund's activities in the near future were defined.
