Students from the occupied regions who live in Tbilisi received supplies of food and hygiene items.
The provision of social and economic support to citizens with the aim of alleviating the consequences of the crisis caused by COVID-19 is ongoing on both central and local levels.
Students who moved from the occupied territories of Georgia and live in Tbilisi were visited by Prime Minister's Advisor on Human Rights and Gender Equality Issues Lela Akiashvili, Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lia Gigauri, and Ketevan Chachava, head of the Sector 3 nongovernmental organization, who familiarized themselves with the students' needs and provided them with food and supplies of basic necessity items. The students were also provided with information on how to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Students from the occupied regions who live in other regions of Georgia will also receive supplies of food and hygiene items.
