We continue to work for the immediate and unconditional release of our illegally detained citizens. Such a statement made Tea Akhvlediani, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, while commenting the decision of the so-called Tskhinvali court on Khvicha Mghebrishvili’s casr, who was illegally detained at the dividing line.

“The Government of Georgia is making regular and intensive efforts to prevent provocative and illegal actions along the dividing line. Unfortunately, information about the illegal decision on Khvicha Mghebrishvili’s case was confirmed today. Such actions unequivocally hinder the strengthening of stability and peace on the ground. We will continue to work with international involvement for the immediate and unconditional release of Khvicha Mghebrishvili and our other illegally detained citizens”.
