"Congratulations on the start of the new academic year to you all, especially those in the first class. This year the school has 6 pupils in 1st class. These children have refurbished, rehabilitated school and are provided with all the necessary equipments and facilities, so I am sure that it will be reflected on their mood and the quality of study as well. Support to population who live in the areas near the dividing line is one of the priorities for the Government of Georgia, and education segment is obviously one of them, as far as education is the key for the solution of all problems,"- Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared.
The First Deputy State Minister also wished success to pupils living in the occupied regions.
"Warm regards to these children from here - good luck, especially to those who live in Gali district, as each year you face additional restrictions with regard to education into native language. I would like to extend my thanks to teachers, parents and pupils for safeguarding their native language in such difficult conditions. The state shall do its best for protecting the rights of these children, for enabling them to continue their study into native language,"- Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared.
