The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Tea Akhvlediani held a meeting with the representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Georgia, Raimund Jehle.
At the meeting, Raimund Yele provided the State Minister with the information about the ongoing projects and implemented activities of FAO aimed at supporting the population affected by the conflict.
Tea Akhvlediani expressed her gratitude for the activities carried out by FAO in the occupied territory of Georgia. At the same time, the State Minister emphasized the role of international organizations and partners and the importance of continuing active engagement in order to restore confidence between the artificially divided society and promote the deepening of people-to-people contacts.
The parties agreed to continue close cooperation.
