The Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality organized a two-day session with journalists.
The State Minister Mr. Paata Zakareishvili, the First Deputy State Minister Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and the Head of Department for Relations with International Organizations and Legal Provision Mrs. Tinatin Gogeliani hosted the representatives of central and regional media on a two-day session at Bazaleti. Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili opened the session, providing information on the 32nd Round of Geneva International Discussions, also reflecting on the topics of discussion and further developments. Mrs. Tinatin Gogeliani introduced the drafts of the National Concept on Tolerance and Civic Integration and 2015-2020 Action Plan.
The second day of the session was devoted for the presentation of the State Minister and the discussion. Mr. Zakareishvili delivered thanks to media representatives for their participation and interest for the activity of the State Minister’s Office.
"You work actively on the issues of conflicts and ethnic minorities. It is always useful to meet with you, as I consider your opinions and information quite interesting,"- the State Minister noted.
Mr. Paata Zakareishvili briefly reviewed the current situation with regard to the conflicts, reflecting on the latest developments, updates and future prospects. The State Minister also reviewed the role and weight of Russia and other external factors within the conflict settlement process. The session involved the discussion and exchange of views between the State Minister and media representatives.
