Next Meeting of Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanism in Village Ergneti

The issue of medical expertise report of the body of Akhalgori resident Davit Basharuli was among the topics discussed. Ossetian side expressed readiness to provide the report to the family of Mr. Basharuli. Representatives of Ossetian side also expressed willingness to return the National Flag of Georgia to Georgian side, which was removed near village Khurvaleti on July 16, 2015. The Georgian side protested the installation of barbed wire fences across the dividing line and demanded the access to lands for the population of village Tsitelubani for necessary agricultural works. The next meeting will be arranged on 29 October in village Ergneti. The Georgian side is represented by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the IPRM meetings.
