The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality met with the Executive Director of the British organization
Saferworld Mr. Pall Merphy.
Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili spoke about Georgia’s peaceful course and attitudes of conflict settlement. Mr. Paul Murphy showed interest towards “State Strategy – Engagement through Cooperation” and received detailed information from the First Deputy State Minister in this respect.
“Our goal is to establish direct dialogue with Abkhazian and Ossetian communities, to support people-to-people contacts and reach for common grounds,” – Mrs. Tsikhelashvili declared.
She also spoke about the development of Geneva International discussions, in particular on humanitarian issues that are tackled in frames of the discussion. She gave an overview of current situation in Gali, with respect to Education, freedom of movement across the occupied territories and property rights.
Mr. Paul Murphy expressed readiness for the continued cooperation.
