10 Georgians, who died at Babushera Airport were buried. 6 out of them were buried at Dighomi Brothers Cemetery and 4 - at Patrimonial Graveyard.
The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and other representatives of the Government attended the funeral ceremony along with the members of families. The First Deputy State Minister delivered her condolences to the natives of the dead and commemorated the cemetery with flower bouquet.

In 2010, a bilateral coordination group has started operating within the auspices of International Committee of Red Cross, which deals with the issue of persons who remain missing after 1992-1993 Georgian-Abkhazian conflict. Under the arrangement of ICRC, The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia shall continue interaction with representatives of de-facto government on the issue of reburial in future.
