The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulated on International Women’s Day March 8th in advance to teachers and kids of Kvemo Nikozi kindergarten and granted presents.
“I have traveled to Kvemo Nikozi to congratulate on International Women’s Day and Mothers’ Day to teachers of the kindergarten; I express my support to all women and mothers who live in the vicinity of occupation line. These people are modern heroes. They struggle not only for the bright future of their families, they bring up not just happy kids, but defend their country as well. There is an occupation line and barbed wires from couple of meters away, creating further difficulties into their daily lives. Nevertheless, these families somehow manage to settle here and fight for their better future. Hereby, I would like to extend my congratulations specifically to those women who remain either internally displaced or live in the occupied regions. I congratulate March 8 and Mothers’ Day to the women who live in Gali and Akhalgori; mothers and teachers who are subject to pressure and their rights are violated each and every day.
I promise to continue struggle for human rights in the occupied territories, right to unlimited education and dignified return of IDPs together with the de-occupation of our country,” – Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared.
