Today the next 64th IPRM meeting took place in Ergneti.
Participants discussed the incidents that took place in latest period, including the cases of illegal arrests and problems that emerged for the local population on both sides of the divide due to illegal installation of barbed wires, fences and banners. Discussion also dealt with property abuse and illegal seizure in occupied Akhalgori district.
Central authorities protested illegal activities near village Jariasheni of Gori district. Discussion also dealt with the case of raid in Merab Balashvili’s apartment in Akhalgori district and the case of Davit Basharuli’s death.
Also, the issue of water supply by agricultural season to the population on both sides of the divide was summarized on expert level. Specifically, the discussion concerned the opportunity to define technical obstacles on the segment of the Tiriponi Channel in the occupied territory and to carry out necessary works for cleaning, respectively.
The successive 65th meeting of IPRM will take place on April 20.
