On March 31st, under the arrangement of the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality ethnic minorities had an opportunity to take part into the information awareness meeting.
Under this arrangement, the National Center for Assessment and Examinations, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Davit Aghmashenebli National Defence Academy familiarized the pupils of Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki and Ninotmsinda with novelties of high education in Georgia and “1+4” Programme.
Representatives of local NGOs and municipalities took part into the meeting as well.
The Ministry of Education and Science has launched “1+4” Programme for ethnic minority representatives in 2010, which enables the entrants to take unified national exams into native language at high academic institutions of Georgia, and to study the state language respectively through the successive year.
