Participants of IPRM Met with NGO Representatives

Participants of Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanism (IPRM) met with the representatives of local NGOs and communities in Gori.
Representatives of the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and State Security Service discussed the issues that are covered by IPRM meetings.
Representatives of the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality gave an overview of the challenges among conflict-affected communities of Shida Kartli and discussed the planned and implemented activities under the auspices of the Temporary Commission for the needs of affected populations near the dividing line.
Besides, spokesmen for Gori Municipality introduced planned and implemented projects for healthcare, social and infrastructural recovery.
The meeting of IPRM participants with NGO representatives took place under 2015-2016 National Action Plan on UN Resolutions (#1325, #1820, #1888, #1889 and #1960).
The event was arranged by the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and UN Women. Representatives of Gori field office of EUMM attended the meeting as well.
