The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Paata Zakareishvili congratulates the Muslims of Georgia on Eid al-Fitr celebration of Holy Ramadan.
“Congratulations on the end of Holy Ramadan month. I wish you peace, success and wellbeing. Islam is indivisible part of multi-confessional culture in Georgia and this diversity is indeed our wealth. The state ensures dignified conditions for each citizen to exercise confession. Historically Georgia maintains the tradition of multiple religions, where everyone respects the religious beliefs and confession of each other,” – Mr. Paata Zakareishvili declared.
According to Islamic belief, Allah inspired Muhammad to assume a mission of mediator in this month. Therefore, the event commemorates the first revelation of the Quran to the world.
