The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulated the Ditsi public school pupils on the start of new academic year.
“Congratulations on the start of new academic year to pupils, teachers, parents and especially freshers who embark on a new and extremely important part of their lives. This school is remarkably distinctive – the occupation line and barbed wires run few kilometers away from it and despite the pressure, these teachers and parents mange to run and contribute to comprehensive academic process, they offer all-inclusive studies, maintain high academic performance and creative achievements,” - Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared.
In her address from Ditsi Public school, the State Minister also extended congratulations to the residents of adjacent villages and occupied territories.
“All those parents who live here are true heroes of our time. Since barbed wires cause so many security and humanitarian challenges, they remain strong - they inspire younger generations with the notion of peace – this is precisely the path we should follow into our commitment to reconciliation process.”
