The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the representatives of UNDP and UNICEF in Georgia. Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili discussed the issues of mutual cooperation with Mr. Niels Scott and Ms. Laila Omar Gad.
The meeting highlighted the issues of restriction that are imposed on the education into mother tongue in Gali, the importance of human rights protection in occupied territories and the restriction on the freedom of movement. The State Minister put an emphasis on the role of international engagement, including the UN institutions, into the subjects concerned and expressed her thanks for the projects that are currently in progress.
