The funding of students, who live along the dividing line, will continue this year. The corresponding order is already issued by the Government.

In particular, in 2016-2017 academic year the Ministry of Education and Science, on the base of information, provided by the municipalities, will fund about 800 students.
This issue was discussed on November, 4, during the session of the Temporary State Commission for the Reaction to the Needs of the Affected Population residing in the villages at the demarcation line.

“The funding of students, who live along the dividing line, is one of the priorities of our Commission and we will continue this project also this year. Temporary State Commission and the government agencies will continue to work on the needs of the affected population living in the villages at the occupation line“, - said the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
