The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili held a meeting with the leadership of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. In particular, she met with the acting prime minister Vakhtang Kolbe, chairman of the Supreme Council Elguja Gvazava and deputies.
"Our task is to take more dynamic steps towards the peace and reconciliation policy. We have already identified the main directions. And, as it is a working process, it’s very important the participation of all the relevant groups and society in general", - said the State Minister.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili provided the participants with the information about the key areas of the peacekeeping policy. In particular, she talked about the security and peace protection, de-occupation, direct dialogue and confidence restoration, Government Services for the residents of the occupied territories, their access to the benefits that Georgia will receive from the European integration, the importance of international support.
The State Minister also answered the questions of deputies of the Supreme Council, which concerned the public diplomacy, Geneva talks and the freedom of movement.
