The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met the delegation of Republic of Moldova headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii.
The State Minister acquainted the guests with the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia. She also talked about the main priorities of the Georgian government's peace policy and the opportunities that the central government offered to residents of the occupied territories.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili also mentioned, that central Government offers the residents of South Ossetia and Abkhazia all the benefits that Georgia receives from the partnership with the EU.
The members of Moldova's delegation spoke about their experience in such issues. In particular, how the European integration process and visa-free regime reflected on Transnistria.
Members of the delegation were also interested in the approaches of the Georgian government in the issue of the ethnic minorities integration. The State Minister provided them with the information about the work in framework of the Civic Equality and Integration National Strategy and Action Plan.
