INFORMATION MEETING OF THE PARTICIPANTS OF IPRM AND REPRESENTATIVES OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS

The Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality with the support of the UN Women's Organization, held an information meeting of the participants of the IPRM and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
The meeting was opened by the representative of the UN Women's Organization in Georgia Erica Kapilova. The head of the EUMM in Georgia Kestutis Jankauskas also addressed the participants. Zviad Zviadadze (the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Conciliation and Civic Equality) and Tamta Goguadze (State Security Service of Georgia) provided the participants with the information about the IPRM meetings. In particular, they talks about the situation along the dividing lines, freedom of movement, illegal detentions, humanitarian situation of people affected by the conflict.
The information meeting "About the Women, Peace and Security" was held with the financial support of the UN Women's Organization on the basis of the UN Security Council resolution, within the framework of the national action plan for 2016-2017.
