The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava delivered a speech at the conference “Reconciliation policy amid new challenges”. He talked about the situation on the occupied territories of Georgia and future prospects, the reconciliation and engagement policy of the Government of Georgia, as well as the special role of international and non-governmental organizations in the peace process and the necessity of continuing cooperation in this regard.
"During the conference we discussed the main aspects of our reconciliation and engagement policy. We have presented to the participants the results of the last year's work. In particular, we should mention the tangible achievements that we have as a result of a joint and coordinated work of different state agencies”, - said Petre Kankava.
The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality answered the questions of the conference attendants.
The conference was organized by the NGO "Caucasian House" on April 26 in Tbilisi.
