Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the USAID Mission Director in Georgia

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the USAID Mission Director in Georgia Douglas Ball.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili provided the Director of the USAID Mission with the information about the situation in the occupied territories and the dividing lines, the problems of freedom of movement and illegal detentions. The State Minister also reviewed the peacekeeping queues of the Georgian government on the conflicts resolution, priorities of reconciliation and engagement policy.

The issues of cooperation between Georgia and USAID in terms of conflict resolution and civil integration were discussed. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili thanked Douglas Ball for the financial support of USAID in the projects of engagement and peace building process.

During the meeting the participants discussed the opportunities and perspectives of future cooperation.
