In particular, Deputy State Minister participated in the celebration activities of the 153rd anniversary of the poet’s birth, held at the school named after Kosta Khetagurov in village Areshperani, Lagodekhi.

Ms. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili welcomed the participants of the celebration and noted that such activities are important for Georgian - Ossetian relations. Ms. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili thanked organizers of this event for the invitation and said that Office of State Minister will continue to facilitate such events in future.

As a part of the ceremony, choreographic dances were performed for the guests. Also, contests in horse racing and wrestling were held. Central and local government officials, village residents and guests from North Ossetia attended the anniversary event.

The event was organized by Caucasian Mosaic with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.
